Add a resource to the library
The catalog lives in Git. Each resource is one folder holding a Markdown file and a few images, so adding one is a normal pull request. There are no forms and no accounts.
Two ways to help
- Suggest a resource. Open an issue with a link to the project and its license. That's enough for us to check it.
- Add it yourself. Fork the repository, add a folder under
src/content/resources/, run the build, and open a pull request.
What a resource looks like
src/content/resources/
my-water-shader/
index.md ← metadata (frontmatter) + documentation (Markdown)
hero.webp ← optional showcase image
reference.webp ← the effect under simple, honest conditions
raw.webp ← the input without the effect
detail-1.webp ← optional gallery imagesThe folder name becomes the URL. The frontmatter is checked against a schema at build time, so mistakes show up as clear build errors rather than broken pages. Optional fields can be left out, and unknown compatibility should stay unknown.
Before you submit
- The resource must live in a public GitHub repository. Record it as
repo: owner/name. - Link prominently to the original project, and credit the real creator.
- Confirm the resource is free and has an explicit open license. Record it accurately.
- Only include screenshots the license allows us to display. Keep them web-sized (WebP, ≤ 1920 px).
- Don't re-host the asset itself unless there's a strong reason and the license clearly allows it.
- Don't guess versions, pipelines or VR/mobile support.
Raw → Reference → Showcase
New entries should eventually include a Raw image (the input), aReference image (the technique under simple conditions) and optionally aShowcase hero. Unusual techniques may need exceptions. Explain them in the entry, because honesty and clarity matter more than rigid rules.
